So this week my inspiration came from this...
I wanted to make a Teacher Emergency Kit for my class. I love those cute little Pikle bags
but it's not in my budget. So I adapted the design above.
I picked out some colorful fabric and made it larger than the crayon roll.
It measures about 7"x 19"
I sewed in some different sized pockets, but forgot the ribbon!! So I just used an extra piece of fabric to tie it together.
I can fit in all my essentials...comb, mints, hair bands, feminine items, nail clippers/file and I think I even have room for my chapstick and roll of Sweettarts!
So I decided to make another one and give it away to one of my wonderful followers!!
More cute fabric and I remembered the ribbon!!
There are little pockets about 3 inches apart
I have started you off with some goodies to fill it..... but that's not all!
I have some WONDERFUL bloggy buddies who have donated to this fun summer giveaway!

I have never been to Hawaii, but I would love to go. My parents went for their 25th anniversary in 1976 and my mom brought home a little jar filled with ocean water. I recently found that bottle and of course the water had long ago dried up. I would love to go fill it up again. Wow, sorry that was so long.
ReplyDeleteI went to Hawaii with the family for Christmas when I was in the 7th grad and have never forgotten that trip. Just the other day my Mom gave me a souvenir she found from that trip. It was BLACK sand and PINK sand... amazing!

Corinna, I have never been to Hawaii, but I have gifts that my parents and my sister have brought back from THEIR trips there! Once my mom brought me some fabric and I made a dress from it. . . I loved the bright colors of the fabric! If I could go, part of me would just love to sit on the beach and listen to the waves, but I could do that at many other beaches near me. . . so I would have to do all the touristy things if I went there. I hope you pick me!
