Loving our new iPad, so many activities, so little time...
We started subtraction regrouping this week.
I think we are going to need a bit more practice.
We also started our science unit on Rocks and Earth materials.
Our story this week is the Emperor's Egg. We compared
ourselves to an Emperor penguin. I think my penguin
came out great! The kids loved it.
And finally, my in-laws arrived on Wednesday night from San Francisco.
My hubby's mom, sister, and his two oldest kids from a previous marriage.
Here he is with all of his children. I just had to snap a pic.
Hope it was a wonderful Friday! Can't wait to check out everyone else's pics.
The time change has really thrown me for a loop. I question do I post or not post since it's the middle of the night back on the mainland. LOL. I LOVE your emperor penguin! What a great way to compare their size. I have a book I made about emperor penguins if you want it and you're still doing your unit. Let me know and I'll email it to you.

DeleteAs always, I enjoyed your post. That's a great picture of your hubby and his kiddos. What app are the kids using in picture 1? It looks like a form of Sudoku. Also, do you have the subtraction with regrouping doc anywhere? I love the look of that one!
