Aloha Friday! My favorite day of the week. I hope you all have had a fantastic Teacher Appreciation week. I have been so busy getting assessments finished, practicing for May Day, and making Mother's Day gifts! I have been wanting to get another blog post out, but I think it will have to wait for this weekend.
Today I am posting some of my favorite pictures from the week.
I posted this on my FB fan book page and it went viral! It was shared over 600 times and my stats said 84,000 people saw it. I guess it rang true for many of us, lol!
I have been one Lucky Duck this week and I am feeling so spoiled. My room parent sent me an email last week asking me for a few of my favorite foods, drinks, colors, flowers etc... Well each morning this week she has come by to present me with a little treat.
How lucky am I? We also had a Teacher Appreciation lunch at our school. Our PTCA had an amazing lunch that was provided by parents. It was a 50's sock hop theme and they had music playing with all these cute little decorations. There was tons of food and it was so delicious.
We also had two massage therapists who were giving all the teachers massages (they were parents) and another parent who had a little eyebrow bar going on. It was so great! So I got to stuff myself silly with fabulous foods and desserts, get a massage and have my eyebrows shaped!
Let's just say my skinny jeans did not go on easily today!!
I know not everyone is acknowledged for their hard work this way, but those sweet little guys who give you hugs everyday as they leave appreciate you far more than you know!
How was your week? I'd love to hear how you were appreciated:)
Wow! You guys really know how to appreciate and celebrate:)) We have nothing like that here.
ReplyDeleteI was one of the people who "liked" that card. It's hilarious and so true!!
