My summer is at a halfway mark!! I don't even know what I have been doing. Mainly a whole lot of nothing, lol! Which is a good thing for me!
So the biggest item on my agenda is that I am headed to Vegas next week for the TpT/SDE conference!! I cannot believe I will be meeting so many of my virtual friends. I'm a little nervous too!
But more about that on Wednesday!
So last week I took my daughters to the beach and wore a cute new bikini top that I bought at Target.
Well after a 6 hour beach day I was fried to a crisp and that cute looking suit became awful looking tan lines!!
Not exactly pretty for my strapless dresses I have for Vegas!! So I am trying to hit the beach a little bit each day and even it all out. So far it's not looking good!
The only thing that I really NEED to do this month is to clean my bedroom. It's awful. I have so much junk in there that I don't use, and I can't remember the last time I cleaned underneath my bed.
It may or may not get done before Vegas...
The 4th of July is not a huge event here in Hawaii. I don't think Hawaiians share the same enthusiasm as the rest of the country ;)
I am off to watch the finale of Season 8 of Dexter. I can't believe I haven't seen it yet! Go link up with Farley, I would love to see what you are up to!!
Oh no! I suffered from unfortunate tan lines last year after a kayaking trip, so I feel your pain! Sometimes there are definite down sides to tanning easily! Hopefully it gets better... If not, I highly recommend Jergens or Loreal gradual tanners. They'll even things out a little bit more!
ReplyDeleteI may have to check into the gradual tanners! Thanks for the tip!
DeleteHave fun fixing your tan lines, it sounds like a fun problem to fix :)
