So I have one week, this week, to get my classroom in order before I officially report next Monday.
I haven't done much this summer in the way of creating. I spent some time having Jamberry parties and a lot of time just hanging out with family and friends. All in all it was a pretty good summer!
One thing I did this last week was to get some gifts ready for my 2nd grade team. This year there are only 3 of us and I wanted to give them something I know that they will use.
Doesn't every teacher need a cute planner!! I actually asked them to choose which style they wanted so they know what they are getting. I wanted a new planner too, so I found some cute digital papers from Christi Fultz and created something brand new for myself. I love it!!
I went with a fun font on the inside and used all the different digital papers in the pack to make each section different.
For some reason when my printer prints double sided it misses the bottom section on the first page it prints. I am not really worried about it and I don't think my teammates will mind.
For each quarter I used a different design similar to what I did with my Cool Colors planner.
I included our SS and Science standards for our district for each quarter.
I edited the planner pages and added times and dates.
The grade book has an area for assessments and daily grades.
And finally I have a calendar in the back. I added some inspirational quotes on each page.
I made this planner a little different from the others and left all the text editable!
I kind of want to spend another week just designing new planners!! My teammates are getting my Cool Colors planner and the Modern Floral planner.
These planners are all available in my TpT shop.
If you are looking for a fun gift for your teammates or teacher buddies but not interested in putting together a planner, check out this post from last year.
If you are headed back to the classroom this week I hope it goes smoothly!! If you are still on break enjoy every minute!!
I linked up with Tara's Monday Made It. Go check out all the other great projects!!

DeleteI bought a different one and it's ready to print! How did you print the lesson plan pages? Are they front to back?
ReplyDeleteI printed them on my home printer which does print front to back.

ReplyDeleteI love your planner. As I was looking and reading your post, I was thinking I really hope she is selling these beauties! And then I was super excited to read that you have them in your TPT store! Woo Hoo! Now I just have to decide which design I want. Also, I featured your holiday paper pack on my blog today. Hope you get a chance to stop by!
