September Currently and 500 Followers!!

Well it is Labor Day weekend and I have been having a blast with my wonderful family. In my last post I mentioned my sister and her kids were visiting from Colorado.  Yesterday we spent the entire day out at Waimea Bay, which is one of my favorite places! The big draw here is the swimming and snorkeling, but the jumping rock is where all the kids and tourists go.

 I have never jumped off the rock, but my niece and nephew went right up there along with my youngest daughter and they all jumped!!  We brought along the kayak and they went all around the bay and even got to swim with a pod of dolphins!  They had a blast and were all completely fried!! But it didn't stop them from heading out today for a morning surf session and another round of snorkeling at Three Tables.

So everyone is pretty much passed out while I am catching up on a pile of reading. Well of course I saw that Farley had posted her September Currently and had to link up.

So as I logged on tonight I discovered that I am over 500 followers!! It happened so quickly this week and am so grateful for everyone who follows along with my little blog.  I started out just wanting to share ideas about teaching and it has turned into so much more. I have met some wonderful people along the way and have made some amazing connections with people all across the world.  I remember being excited about 25 followers, and now 500!! Amazing! So to thank everyone for following I would like to have a fun giveaway.  I will share details soon.
